How to prepare for your appointment

Day Of

Do NOT wear any makeup around your brow area to your appointment.

Please set aside 3-4 hours for your appointment to avoid rushing. I take my time during our appointment to give you the best results.

24 Hours

Do NOT consume caffeine, alcohol, or any blood thinning medications 24 hours before your service. (If you take fish oil, avoid taking them for 1 week before your service to prevent prolonged bleeding.)

2-3 Weeks

Do NOT wax or remove any natural brow hairs prior to your appointment (I will take care of them for you)

Do NOT use any strong exfoliants, chemical peels or active ingredient on your brow area prior to your appointment

(ex: Retinol should not be used on the brow area 3 weeks prior to the appointment due to increased cellular turnover which affects the pigment retention and color)

How to care for your brows after your appointment

Trust the healing process and follow proper aftercare to help with your body’s natural healing process.

Recovery Time

1-2 weeks. However, complete healing takes 4 weeks for the pigment to fade and resurface.

During Healing

Do NOT pick, itch, rub freshly tattooed brows (only touch during aftercare) in order to prevent infection. Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands before cleansing and applying ointment.

1 Hour After Session/Day Of

Gently cleanse brows, pat dry with clean paper towel & apply thin layer of ointment as directed. Use a grain of rice size for ointment. Repeat every 3 hours until nighttime routine.

Day 1-3

(Morning, Afternoon, Night) : Gently cleanse brows, pat dry, and apply ointment- Use a grain of rice size for ointment.

Day 4-7

Gently cleanse brows, pat dry and apply ointment - Use a grain of rice size for ointment.

(Morning + Night ) : Reapply a ointment if needed when dry or tight.

48 Hours

AVOID | sweating (working out) direct sunlight, hot showers (peep the curtain if it gets steamy)

2-3 Weeks

AVOID | sun exposure, makeup on brow area, exfoliation, steaming, swimming (chlorine + saltwater), saunas, tanning, botox and excessive facial treatments.
